The grapes of gewurztraminerare cultivated from 18- year-old vines
in Melozal in the heart of the Maule Valley. The conduction system
consists in a double-crosspiece and are tied in with a knotted cord. The
grapes are hand picked, and the harvest produces 10,000 kg yield per
hectare. The wine's composition is 92% gewurztraminerare and 8% riesling.
WINE MAKING PROCESS / desteming and
gentle crushing of the berries. Cold maceration is conducted over a 6-hour period at 10 ºc with gentle pressing and mud removal of the must carried out at 10ºc. The selected yeast is directly sown during the fermentation process at temperatures of 15ºc.
AGEING IN A BARREL : The wine is unoaked.
BOTTLING /
Filtration: Sterile filtration. Potential maturation: up to 4 years.

TASTING NOTES / Colour: pale yellow with a delicate greenish tone. Very perfumed with fruits such as lichi, mango, ripe pear mingled with notes of white rose petals and fine spices. In the mouth it is perfumed and well-structured with very persistent suggestions of peach and mango. It is fresh and very persistent.
FOOD AND DRINK PAIRING /Enjoy it with aperitifs and Oriental foods, steamed metro (fish), scallops in imperial sauce, vegetable rolls, stuffed chili and goat cheese.
