the riesling grapes are cultivated from 18-year-old vines in melozal in the heart of the maule valley. the training system used is double crosspiece and are tied in with a knotted cord. the grapes are hand-picked and the harvest produces 10,000 kg per hectare. the wine’s composition is 100% riesling.

WINE MAKING PROCESS / soft pressing of whole bunches and removal of must is carried out at 10ºc. direct application of selected yeast and fermentation takes place at temperatures of 18ºc.

AGEING IN BARREL : The wine is unoaked .

BOTTLING / Filtration: Sterile filtration. Potential maturation: up to 6 years

TASTING NOTES /a wonderful golden yellow. an intense fruit aroma with hints of dried apricots, ripe peach and pear combined with subtle notes of honey and raisins. an enjoyably concentrated and typical riesling flavour with suggestions of honey, figs and raisins. an agreeable long-lasting finish on the palate

FOOD AND DRINK PAIRING /ideal with fois gras, roquefort cheese, cakes, pancakes and pastries, strawberries and creem, fruit tartlets and chocolates. serve: chilled, ideally 10-12ºc.
